Our Impact

It started with a bumpy wheel…

Founder William (Bill) Bateman built and lead a successful business for over 30 years, based on positive business ethics and treating customers like valued neighbors.

One day, as he was shopping he noticed his cart had an annoying “thump, thump, thump” as it rolled down the aisle. He searched for the cause of the “irritation” and found a pronounced flat spot on the rear wheels that kept the wheel from rolling smoothly. He started asking questions about the wheels, and the more he learned about how wasteful they are, the more he thought, there has to be a better way!

With the valued support of freinds and family and Angel Investor William F. Troxler Jr, Bill engaged Kevin E. Flynn, a prominent patent attorney, and Kevin Rackers, CEO at Automation Techniques, Inc., and after several prototypes, seed money was quickly raised, and a company was formed with the goal of bringing to market a radically designed wheel that would save retailers millions while significantly reducing the amount of plastic waste now thrown into our landfills.
